Why HACHI?
The name ‘Hachi’ is a combination of the first two letters of my first name and first three letters of my surname. ‘Hachi’ is also Japanese for “eight”. I’m born in the 8th month and reside within the 8th Chinese Zodiac.
8 is a constant theme in my life. It’s also connected to Hachiko, the loyal and determined Shiba Inu dog from Japan, I love the story.

Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. Relocated to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory in 2022 to open Hachi Tattoo Studio.
Currently back in Perth since March 2023 to trade in an independent privately owned studio in Fremantle, Perth called The Painted Lady.

Working as a lecturer was such a fantastic addition to my career as a tattoo artist, teaching and guiding the next generation and help young designers building self confidence a strong portfolio focused on freelance, illustration and alternative style arts. Opening Hachi Tattoo Studio in Canberra was a fantastic next chapter with the same goal of creating a safe, creative space for people to get tattooed. Relocating back to Perth in March 2023 with a more finely tuned emphasis to continue to grow my business with the same goals and drive in mind.
