Why HACHI?
The name ‘Hachi’ is a combination of the first two letters of my first name and first three letters of my surname. ‘Hachi’ is also Japanese for “eight”. I’m born in the 8th month and reside within the 8th Chinese Zodiac.
8 is a constant theme in my life. It’s also connected to Hachiko, the loyal and determined Shiba Inu dog from Japan, I love the story.

I have been playing local and national tournament circuits locally and internationally for the past few years.

Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia. Relocated to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory in 2022 to open Hachi Tattoo Studio. Currently back in Perth since March 2023 trading independently.

Working as a lecturer was such a fantastic addition to my career as a tattoo artist, teaching and guiding the next generation and help young designers building self confidence a strong portfolio focused on freelance, illustration and alternative style arts. Hachi Tattoo has always been about creating a safe, creative space for people to get tattooed with a strong emphasis that no project is too difficult.
